Becoming a Member
You are invited to become a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Requirements for membership:

• Faith in God and in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is not required to know all the answers, but faith is a necessary starting point.

• A commitment to serve God in the congregation by giving time, talent, and treasure for the glory of God. The amount of these gifts is a personal decision for each member in their own conscience before God.

• A desire to participate in the worship and fellowship of the Church, showing love and respect for all fellow-members.

Methods of Joining the Church:

• By letter of transfer from your former congregation.

• By Profession of Faith in God and in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, our Lord and Savior.

• Baptism is a part of joining the Church for all those who have not been baptized before.

The First Step: Those interested in joining the Church are encouraged to call the pastor at the church office or mark the Friendship Pads during worship in the place provided.

Pastoral Visitation: Rev. Lavoie is available to help answer any questions you may have prior to joining, either by office appointment or by home visitation.
